Tomato Sauce

This tomato sauce is made primarily from tomatoes and it can be served usually as part of a dish, with pasta or pizza.

Ingredients

In a medium sauce pot add extra-virgin olive oil and heat over medium-low heat.

Add the garlic, and red pepper and cook until the garlic is lightly golden.

Now add the stock or wine and cook until most of the liquid cooks out.

Add in tomatoes and season with salt, pepper, sugar, and Italian seasoning.

Reduce heat to low and allow to simmer until you are ready to eat it. Taste the tomato sauce and add more seasoning if necessary. Refrigerate or freeze leftovers.
